Award applications – open for entries
On behalf of the AUCSO board, I am delighted to advise that nominations are now open for the AUCSO 2026 awards.
As is our regular practice we will be announcing the winners of the awards during our annual conference, being held at the University of Exeter from 13th to 15th April. Our conference Gala Dinner, on the night of Wednesday 15th April, will see our award winners honoured at the prestigious Great Hall at the University of Exeter.
We invite submissions from AUCSO member institutions, with each category offering Winner, and Highly Commended award.
Categories are;
- Security Officer of the year
- Security Manager of the year
- Security Team of the year
- Initiative of the year
Submissions will be evaluated against a set of clearly defined criteria, using a structured point-scoring system. Points will be allocated according to how effectively each submission meets the key elements set out within each category.
We are looking for submissions that provide clear, compelling evidence and demonstrate meaningful impact.

Deadline for entries is midnight on 11th January 2026
Shortlisted entries will be announced on 23rd February 2026.
