The 2019 AUCSO Conference will be held at Aston University, Birmingham, Tuesday 2 – Thursday 4 April 2019. We already have some great speakers lined up for you and the full programme can be found in the Members Area 2019 Conference folder.
For diary planning the outline programme is similar to previous years:
- Tuesday evening – Welcome meal and drinks at the hotel
- Wednesday – AGM, conference sessions and exhibition
- Wednesday evening – Networking evening
- Thursday – Conference sessions and exhibition
- Thursday evening – Gala dinner and awards evening
B, C & D will be at the Conference Hotel
A – Delegate fee, all meals (including evenings) but NO accommodation – £250
B – Delegate fee, all meals + two nights (Wed and Thu) – £400
C – Delegate fee, all meals + three nights (Tue – Thu) – £520
D – Delegate fee, all meals* + four nights (Mon – Thu) – £620
*Not including an evening meal on Monday – B&B only.
Whilst partners/guests are not allowed to attend the actual conference, they may be invited to the evening events, which include a meal and two drinks, at the following rates:
Tuesday Welcome Evening – £36
Wednesday Networking Evening – £36
Thursday Gala Dinner – £72
Hotel double occupancy rate – £15 per night.

Drive – Aston University is within easy reach of the M6 – please book your car parking in advance – see below.
Fly – To Birmingham International Airport. From here it is a 30-minute taxi ride, or 9 minutes on the direct train to Birmingham New Street station.
Train – To Birmingham New Street station. From here, and from Snow Hill and Moor Street rail stations, it is a 10-15-minute walk to Aston University. Taxis are easily available at all stations.

Car parking for the conference centre and hotel is available in Car Park 12 on the main campus, but must be booked and paid for in advance. A permit and access code will be supplied by email upon booking and the permit must be displayed in the vehicle at all times. Delegates are responsible for making their own parking arrangements.
