Our Youngest Manager?!

It is wonderful to hear that Hannah Booth has been promoted to a managerial role in SafeGuarding Services at Heriot-Watt University. Hannah takes up her new post as SafeGuarding Support Manager next week reporting directly to Les Allan, supporting strategic projects to keep the service moving forward.  Hannah will also continue in her role as the SafeZone Manager and bring new initiatives in delivering the campus SafeZone service.  Hannah has a degree in Policing & Security Studies and has been with Heriot-Watt SafeGuarding Services, initially as a security officer and latterly as a project officer, for two and a half years following a year at Edinburgh Airport Security, post-graduation. Since the start of the new semester Hannah’s efforts in pushing out SafeZone have added an additional 2000 users to the system in the past 4 weeks. At just 25 Hannah is now the youngest manager in the UK Higher Education Security Sector, with a promising career ahead of her.
