The Police Crime Prevention Academy is a ProQual approved centre with a proven track record in providing accredited qualifications and professional development for both the public and private sector.

The Academy is a police owned non-profit organisation which specialises in all aspects of crime prevention and has exclusive links to the Secured by Design initiative. The accredited qualifications and professional development the Academy offers replaced the crime prevention and designing out crime courses previously offered by the College of Policing.

The Academy are proud to announce the launch of a series of distance learning courses relevant to all people who work in public places, housing and community safety. These courses – which can be accessed without the need to be away from home or work – will be of interest to staff at all levels, and offer a good opportunity to upskill yourself or your staff. Subject areas include:

• Prevention of Extremism and Terrorism
• PREVENT and Safeguarding
• Diversity and Inclusion
• Mental Health First Aid Awareness

These courses are approximately 10 hours to complete and normally offered at £120 + VAT but there is a special offer for AUCSO members for £40 + VAT if booked before 31st of March 2021.
