It was wonderful to hear that some of our members have been shortlisted for the 2019 Security & Fire Excellence Awards, to be presented in London in November 2019. Firstly congratulations to the Heriot-Watt University SafeGuarding Team, who are finalists (the only University team) in the category ‘In-House Security Team of the Year’ (they won this category last year!) and also congratulations to Claire Humble from the University of Teeside, who is a finalist in the ‘Security Manager of the Year’ category.

These nominations reflect the high standards our members achieve and we wish them both good luck on the presentation night.
