It just been announced that this year’s OSPAs UK are now open for entries.   AUCSO would be delighted if as many of our members as possible enter.  Let’s make a big noise and dominate in as many categories as we can.

More great news that, in addition to our Vice-Chairman Ollie Curran on the OSPAs Judging Panel, Our Chairman and Secretary, Les and Elizabeth, have been added as judges.  This is a great reflection of the credibility AUCSO is gaining in the wider security sector.

The OSPAs have introduced a new category this year: The Outstanding Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Initiative. This initiative was spearheaded by Ollie Curran through his work with the Security Commonwealth, so highlighting the work our members do within EDI is a great opportunity to continue to show how HE/FE Security are leading the way within the Security Industry.

Entry to the UK Outstanding Security Performance Awards (OSPAs) is now open with a brand-new category added for 2022:  Outstanding Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Initiative.

The OSPAs provide the opportunity to highlight the best companies, people and projects that have made a significant contribution in safeguarding communities.   As well as providing the opportunity to say thank you to those in frontline security roles who have demonstrated innovation, flexibility, dedication, and resourcefulness in responding to changing and sometimes challenging situations.

Entry is free, open through to 4^th October 2021 and nominations are invited in sixteen categories.

Nominations will be scored by an independent panel of judges all of whom have been chosen by supporting associations and special interest groups to represent them.   The process is strict and robust ensuring that all entries have a fair and equal chance of success.

The last 18-months has seen both challenges and opportunities for the security industry; security providers have stepped up to the mark to carry out tasks that would not normally have been expected of them.  Entering the OSPAs provides the opportunity to showcase the exceptional work that is taking place and we urge you to submit at least one nomination, be it a company, team or individual who has demonstrated outstanding performance.
