AUCSO Tabletop Exercise

We are pleased to announce the first AUCSO Table Top Exercise exclusively for AUCSO Members – attached brochure provides details.

We have worked closely with the facilitators of the platform to develop this as a pilot exercise involving a virtual major crisis type scenario on a campus.  This is a first for AUCSO and a big leap ahead for us to offer such an opportunity for our membership.  See the brochure for details of how the exercise will work – much the same as a war game type situation with allocated roles for players interacting in real time as the exercise unfolds.  All of the role players will be members of an institution security team – this pilot exercise will deal with the initial stages of the crisis up to the point that emergency services arrive on site and how your security team copes with it.

We can take a max of 50 players who are all allocated roles in the exercise.  We are looking at this stage for only 1 participant per member institution to ensure that as much of our membership as possible can participate, player roles will be allocated on the day.

If this pilot exercise is as success and there is an appetite for more from members then we can extend the size and scope of future exercises as we develop them with a variety of major incident categories.

Registration for the exercise is open now – link on cover page of the attached  brochure.  This pilot excise is funded by AUCSO and free to attend – first come first served so register quickly!

Any enquiries to me please on chair@aucso.org

Kind regards

Les Allan
